Lazy Cow syndrome. Is this funny, or is it funny? (It's certainly not PC)

If you cannot cope with satire, you had better not watch it. (H/T Damian Thompson)

  1. I was raised as a Catholic. But i strongly disagree with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops statement denouncing President Barack Obama's attempts at compromise as "needless government intrusion in the internal governance of religious institutions" . On the contrary, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops comments are themselves a needless intrusion upon the proper functions of government. Someone should explain to them the concept of separation of Church And State. Perhaps if they moved to a county governed by Sharia law for awhile, they would be more enlightened? Just because a religious group in America claims to believe something, we cannot exclude or excuse them from obeying the law. They can legally attempt to change the law... not to deny it.

    1. "I was raised a Catholic..." usually means "I am no longer a Catholic and disagree with the Church." which is what Anonymous says. The law should respect religious freedom. We and anyone who is Catholic believes these things - abortion, contraception, sterilization - are deeply immoral. We - Catholics - should not have to purchase these services for ourselves or for others. If the State wants everyone to have these services, it needs to find another way of making them available.
